Voting in the YEA

You can vote by using a ballot paper in your school or youth club.

This means that every young person will have the best chance of voting.  We have had over 25,000 young people take part in the YEA elections so far.

We're hoping even more young people will vote this year, making the YEA the true voice of all young people in Essex.

Talk to your teachers and persuade them to contact us to register your school as a polling station.

They can apply by emailing yea@essex.gov.uk. We will provide all ballot papers, boxes, posters etc.

Remember: the YEA members are chosen by young people to give young people a voice.
